Lunda and Tonga Catechism translations

    One of the Zambian pastors, Rev. Robert Kaumba, was trained by my predecessor, Rev. Dr. Anssi Simojoki.  Having seen the importance of laying a solid foundation for the church, asked me to come and train the pastors how to teach Luther’s Small Catechism.  One of the most shocking visions and sounds was the mosque that has recently been built next door to the Bible School. 

    The Zambians said the country used to be very Christian but the definition of Christianity is quickly becoming watered down.  Part of the reason is because most foreign mission work now focuses on social needs and minimize teaching the faith.  At the same time Muslim missionaries are pouring into the country.  Their tactic is to highlight the immoral lives of Westerners and then question if that is what Zambians want for their children and
