Benin
The church in Benin is still a small church. It was started by a Lutheran missionary from Iowa. He went to be with his Lord after a tragic accident at sea. The current church president is Gregoire Legbanon. He studied at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is the sole ordained pastor. The church has one student at the seminary in Togo. His name is Abona Koumbi, from the northern part of Benin. The church in Benin really needs help in training their people and the young men who would like to study at the seminary to become pastors.
